Holy Tea ingredients
Holy Tea is a very special blend of herbs: Holy Thistle, Persimmon Leaves, Malva leaves, Marsh Mallow and Blessed Thistle.

That
kind of tea blend purifies softly our inner organs and intestinal
tract. Nowadays, our food is mostly full of preserve-chemicals, it is
pasteurized, canned and processed... This makes it difficult for our
bodies to get the needed enzymes from food.
Now,
thanks to Dr. Miller's tea, we can restore our organs and intestinal
tract so it would work perfectly, in other words -
normally. Dr.Miller worked on this tea nearly 20 years, until he
was satisfied with the results. His tea got the approval and
approbiation of his clients.
Holy Tea
is available for everybody in the world today, and it's convinient for people in every age and weight category.

Holy Thistle
Scientific
Name: Milk Thistle
Other Names: Cardui mariae,
Carduus marianum, Lady's Thistle,
Legalon,
Marian Thistle, Mariendistel, Mary
Thistle, Our Lady's Thistle, Silimarina,
Silybin, Silybum marianum, Silymarin, St.
Mary Thistle
Holy thistle has been used medicinally for over 2000 years, most
commonly for the treatment of liver and gallbladder disorders. It
supports the liver in the release of toxins; its products are popular
in Europe and the United States for various types of liver disease.
Holy thistle is believed to have great power in the purification and
circulation of the blood. It is such a good blood purifier that
drinking a cup of thistle tea twice a day will cure chronic headaches.
Used for stomach and digestive problems, gas in the intestines,
constipation, and liver troubles. It is very effective for dropsy,
strengthens the heart, and is good for the liver, lungs, and kidneys.
Additional Information
Milk/Holy Thistle contains silymarin, which may have specific
protective effects on cells in the liver. Silymarin and other chemicals
in milk thistle are believed to protect liver cells in several
different ways:
* Contains antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are thought to prevent
or lessen damage to body cells that is caused by a chemical process
called oxidation.
* Anti-inflammatory effects of silymarin help keep liver cells from swelling in response to injury.
* Silymarin seems to encourage the liver to grow new cells, while discouraging the formation of inactive fibrous tissue.
* By changing the outside layer of liver cells, silymarin may also keep certain harmful chemicals from getting into liver cells.
Holy Thistle may also cause the immune system to be more active.
Silymarin and other chemicals from Holy Thistle have also been tested
in laboratory studies involving various types of human cancer cells. In
general, they seem to interrupt cancer cell division as well as
shortening the time that cancer cells live. They may also stop or limit
the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors. Most research
has centered on breast cancer and prostate cancer, but Holy Thistle may
also be useful in treating other cancers such as leukemia.
Additionally, some chemicals from Holy Thistle may increase the
effectiveness of current anticancer drugs. Some of these anticancer
effects are being studied in early-phase human trials, but none is yet
confirmed.
Persimmon Leaf
(Diospyros
virginiana)
Supplementing
a high-fat diet with powdered leaves taken from Native American
persimmon trees can inhibit weight gain and lower both food intake and
plasma lipid levels, research shows. Scientists believe that the rich
fiber and phenolic content of persimmon leaves, which are commonly used
to make tea in India, increases the amount of lipids removed from the
body as feces. "Since the persimmon leaves have beneficial effects on
hemostatsis, constipation, hypertension, apoplexy, weight loss and
atherosclerosis, they have been broadly applied in food and medicine,"
says J Lee, from the Ottogi Research Center in Kyonngi-do, The Republic
of Korea and colleagues.
To
investigate if the leaves also improved metabolism and lipid levels,
the team fed three groups of rats either a normal control, high-fat, or
high-fat with powdered whole persimmon leaf diet, for 6 weeks. Eating
the high-fat diet without persimmon leaves increased the rats' body
weight by an average 114% in comparison with those fed the normal
control diet. However, rats eating the persimmon leaf supplemented
high-fat diet had a final body weight similar to that of the normal
control group after 6 weeks.
"Thus
indicating that persimmon leaf supplementation suppressed the excess
body weight gain that could be induced by high-fat feeding," say the
authors in the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology. They added that
these rats gained less weight because persimmon leaf consumption
suppressed their food intake, perhaps via the hormone leptin, levels of
which were higher in the leaf-supplemented group than the high-fat only
group.
Eating
persimmon leaves with a high-fat diet also created a less atherogenic
lipid profile by lowering plasma total cholesterol and triglyceride
concentrations, while increasing the ratio of high-density lipoprotein
cholesterol to total cholesterol. Finally, the researchers say the fact
that rats eating persimmon leaves had a higher daily fecal weight than
the high-fat only group, shows that the "combined effect of high-fiber
and high-phenolic content in persimmon leaf itself could enhance the
fecal excretion of neutral and acidic sterol." They conclude: "Efficacy
tests of lipid-lowering action of persimmon leaf suggest that this
whole persimmon leaf food would be beneficial for regulation of lipid
metabolism or prevention of hyperlipidemia in an experimental animal
model."
The
tannins and flavonoids in Persimmon leaves have anti-hypertensive,
anti-carcinogenic, and anti-mutagenic properties. The leaf also acts as
a mild laxative. It is used for hemorrhoids and varicose veins.
Persimmon leaf extract containing astragalin, when taken orally, acts
as a natural antihistamine which helps to reduce allergic reactions. It
relieves the symptoms of dermatitis, reducing inflammation and
thickening of the skin. Persimmon leaves also alleviate itching. The
astringent raw Persimmon fruit is used to treat constipation,
gastro-intestinal irritation, dysentery, chronic diarrhea, ulceration
of the bowel and stomach, catarrh of the rectum and colon, hemorrhoids,
and to stop bleeding.
Persimmon
leaves are a good source of important dietary antioxydants, such as
vitamin A & C and flavonoids. It has been widely used as a tea in
oriental countries. In particular, several tannins and flavonoids
isolated from persimmon leaf were recently found to have
antihypertensive, anticarcinogenic and antimutagenic actions. It is
highly possible, therefore, that persimmon leaves may be developed into
potential sources of natural antioxidants and therapeutic drugs.
Persimmon
leaf is anti-allergic and anti-pruritic in composition; in other words,
an allergy or itching preventive food. Furthermore, research has proven
the therapeutic effect of persimmon leaf extract on those suffering
from dermatitis. The preventive effect of persimmon leaf extract on the
dermatitis was dose-dependent and a continuous intake of persimmon leaf
extract significantly decreased its onset and development. There were
no significant adverse reactions observed. As well, studies have shown
that supplementation of persimmon leaf improves lipid profiles and
suppresses body weight gain in animals that were fed high-fat diets. It
is also used topically in some beauty products to help to clarify the
skin and eliminate dull and dark areas.
Persimmon
has been cultivated in Japan for at least 1,000 years, where it is
considered the national fruit. So it only seems natural that Japanese
researchers discovered that the main flavonoid in
persimmon—astragalin—inhibits the release of histamine in
mice suffering from atopic dermatitis. When the mice were given
persimmon extract, they exhibited fewer behavioral symptoms, such as
scratching and biting their skin. There was also a reduction of serum
IgE, the antibodies produced in response to an allergen. Additionally,
tissue samples showed there was less inflammation and thickening of the
skin.

Malva leaf (Malva
verticillata)
Often
made into a tea to soothe the membranes of the digestive system. Malva
Leaf is mildly astringent and diuretic and used to treat
gastroenteritis, stomachache and conditions of the spleen. Malva Leaf
is also thought to be a mild laxative. The seeds are used in Tibetan
medicine, where they are considered to have a sweet and astringent
taste plus a healing potency. They are used in the treatment of renal
disorders, the retention of fluids, frequent thirst and diarrhea. Malva
Leaves are used medicinally, often made into a tea to sooth membranes
of the digestive system. Malva Leaf is high in mucilaginous materials,
making it suitable as a protector of the respiratory system and a
soother of the lungs. It is indicated in cases of bronchitis,
emphysema, and when bronchial irritation is present. Malva Leaf is
mildly astringent and diuretic, and has been used to treat
gastroenteritis, stomachache, and conditions of the spleen.
Marsh Mallow
Traditionally
used to soothe and support the intestines. It is an oldtime remedy for
bladder infection, digestive upsets, fluid retention, intestinal
disorders, kidney problems, sinusitis and sore throat. Marshmallow is a
natural source of beta-carotene, amino acids, minerals and vitamins and
is often used as a filler in the compounding of pills. Primary chemical
constituents in Marshmallow include substantial mucilage,
polysaccharides, flavonoids (quercetin), kaempferol, asparagine,
tannins, lecithin and pectin. The great demulcent and emollient
properties of Marshmallow make it useful in inflammation and irritation
of the alimentary canal and of the urinary and respiratory organs.
Marshmallow also contains large amounts of vitamin A, calcium, zinc and
significant amounts of iron, sodium, iodine and B-complex vitamins.
Marshmallow reduces inflammation and has a calming effect on the body.
Taking Marshmallow and iron together may reduce the absorption of the
iron. Marshmallow —the herb, not the white puffy confection
roasted over a campfire—has been used for centuries as both a
food and a medicine. Its botanical name comes from the Greek word
"altho," which means "to cure." The Romans, Chinese, Egyptians, and
Syrians used marshmallow as a source of food, while the Arabs made
poultices from its leaves and applied this to the skin to reduce
inflammation. The mucilage, or gummy secretion, in the leaves and
particularly the root is helpful for soothing sore throats, chapped
skin, and minor wounds. Professional herbalists may recommend
marshmallow for the following health problems based on its long history
of use in traditional healing systems, as well as results of laboratory
studies.
* Asthma
* Bronchitis
* Common cold/sore throat
* Cough * Inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
* Stomach ulcers
* Weight loss aid (marshmallow swells with fluid and gives a sense of fullness)
* Wound healing
Blessed Thistle (Cnicus
benedictus)
Blessed
Thistle has been recorded as far back as the early sixteenth century
for treating smallpox, fever, anorexia, dyspepsia, indigestion,
diarrhea, and flatulence. More recently it has shown to be useful in:
Indigestion, heartburn and poor appetite. Traditionally used to
stimulate menstruation and therefore should be avoided during
pregnancy. Blessed thistle may possibly increase the production of acid
in the stomach, thereby interfering with the effectiveness of antacids
and over-the-counter medications such as Pepcid AC and Zantac AR.
Topically, a poultice of blessed thistle is used to soothe skin
irritated by burns, scrapes, shaving, sunburn, and other relatively
minor injuries. A poultice is usually a soft cloth that has been soaked
in a medication, possibly heated, and applied to an aching or injured
area of skin surface. Blessed thistle contains chemicals which have an
astringent effect. Astringents shrink and tighten the top layers of
skin or mucous membranes, thereby reducing secretions, relieving
irritation, and improving tissue firmness. In general, herbal products
are not subject to review or approval by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (FDA). They are not required to be standardized, meaning
that the amounts of active ingredients or contaminants they contain may
vary between brands or between different batches of the same brand. Not
all of the risks, side effects, or interactions associated with the use
of herbal products are known because few reliable studies of their use
in humans have been done.
Preparing Your Holy Tea Beverage To Taste
You
may adjust the amount of Holy Tea you consume daily to suit your
body’s needs. Don't worry, it tastes good! It tastes like a
regular tea or herbal tea - not like "medicine" - and you can even mix
it with your favorite teas. You may not even want to add any sugar or
honey. Two bags of Holy Tea will produce one gallon. If you drink one
8-ounce glass or mug of Holy Tea twice per day (with 2 meals) this will
last for 8 days. Thus a pack of 8 bags of Holy Tea will last for one
month (32 days). If you drink an extra 4-ounce glass of Holy Tea with a
snack then 2 bags of Holy Tea will last about 6 days, and 8 bags (4
gallons) will last for about 24 days. Bring a quart of water to a full
rolling boil, turn off the stove, let the water sit a couple of minutes
before putting in two tea bags, cover, and let STEEP for at least four
to eight hours. This brings the herbs to full potency. Add water or
your favorite beverage to make a gallon, Refrigerate ready to drink.
Drink two 8 oz. & one 4 oz glasses per day, more, when your body
wants it.
LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. It will tell you when to make the Tea stronger! It
tastes great! You can mix Holy Tea with any other juice or tea, if you
like. A good way to help Holy Tea work faster: A ¼ tsp. of
baking soda in a tumbler, add 2-3 Tbs apple cider vinegar, drink, and
follow with Holy Tea. Do this after breakfast and dinner, and watch the
great results. Apple cider vinegar is very healthy. This, combined with
Holy Tea, is the best natural anti-biotic known to man. After drinking
the gallon of tea, save the tea bags, dry the tea herbs, and simply add
to any food: soups, spaghetti, stews, salads, potatoes, etc.
Two bags of Holy Tea produce one gallon. If you drink one 8-ounce glass
or mug of Holy Tea twice per day (with 2 meals) it lasts for 8 days. 8
bags of Holy Tea will last for one month (32 days). If you drink an
extra 4-ounce glass of Holy Tea with a snack then 2 bags of Holy Tea
will last about 6.5 days, and 8 bags (4 gallons) will last for about 24
days.
IMPORTANT:
Holy Tea must be steeped in water which is HOT - close to the boiling
point, but NOT BOILING. DO NOT MICROWAVE! Excessive heat will destroy
the important tea enzymes.
(If using a kettle to heat the water, remove it after you first hear
the bubbling noises or see steam. If the water has already come to a
rapid boil, let it set for a few minutes to cool and stop the boiling.)
bullet Do not microwave tea!!! Microwaves will destroy the natural
enzymes and render some important nutrients ineffective. bullet If you
prefer to drink your Holy Tea warm or hot, you can heat it in a
saucepan or tea kettle - but do NOT heat the mixture to the boiling
point. The boiling of the water will break down the herbs and will lose
their potency. bullet Always drink the Holy Tea with food - not on its
own. Drink about 8 ounces with meals such as breakfast and dinner, and
drink about 4 ounces with a snack or a light lunch. A standard teacup
holds about 6 ounces. bullet Drink plenty of water. Not drinking enough
water reduces your body's ability to get rid of wastes and toxins.
Drinking enough water is especially important while detoxing your body.
It helps your kidneys, sweat glands, lymphatic system, lungs, and
digestive tract flush out toxins and waste material. Water acts as the
carrier to transport nutrients into your cells and flush waste material
out of your cells.
You can use a refrigerated concentrate, and add it to hot water or hot
tea. Make 1 quart instead of 4 quarts of Holy Tea using 2 bags,
refrigerate, then add 2 ounces of the cold concentrate to 6 ounces of
hot water or hot tea. bullet IF YOU ARE NOT SURE on how your body will
react to a cleansing. It is a good suggestion to drink less than the
recommended the first day (for instance the recommended is 16 oz a day,
start the first day with 10 oz, especially if you want to get the feel
of how the herbs are going to work with you in cleansing the system)
and increase to the recommended amount.

Suggested Use of Holy Tea
Always
drink the Holy Tea while eating food - not on its own. Drink about 8
ounces with meals like breakfast and dinner, and drink about 4 ounces
with a snack or a light lunch.
If you need to drink more or less of your Holy Tea beverage, you are
free to do so. But remember that it is a cathartic and detoxifying tea,
so it is possible to experience a little discomfort during the first
few days when your body is going through the initial cleansing and
elimination of accumulated toxins and old waste material.
You will likely be going to the bathroom more frequently for a few
days, so plan ahead if you are not at home. Don't worry, you are not
going to be running to the bathroom! You will just be getting a natural
urge to go more often than before - perhaps two to three times per day.
And it should be natural and effortless, with no straining. If you work
Monday to Friday, it may be best to start taking your Holy Tea on a
Friday after work, so you can be at home over the weekend.
As you continue to drink your Holy Tea every day, you will be removing
more and more toxins and impacted fecal matter from your colon, and you
will start to feel better and have more energy. The more that has built
up over the years, the longer it will take to clean out a larger
amount. We suggest at least 3 months of drinking Holy Tea every day.
Many users keep drinking it for years.
As your colon is being cleared of the material that is clogging it, you
should see your abdomen start to shrink. You will lose inches from your
waist, and you will lose pounds of excess weight.
Drink More Water!
IMPORTANT: You
also need to drink 8 cups (64 oz.) of clean water daily, which is
recommended for everyone every day, whether you have any of the above
mentioned conditions or not! Not drinking enough water reduces your
body's ability to get rid of wastes and toxins. It is especially
important while detoxing your body to give it lots of water to help
your kidneys, sweat glands, lymphatic system, lungs, and digestive
tract flush out the toxins and waste material.
Water is the "universal solvent" which acts as the carrier to transport
nutrients into your cells and flush waste material out of your cells.
